I was born in a small town in North Carolina as the second of eventually three to a nurse and an inventor.  Early days were spent mocking my father’s sketches, pretending I could understand Shakespeare and obsessing over the history of art and far away places.  When I grew up, I went to many of those far away places, starting art school in Atlanta, moving to LA, and then finishing art school at the School of Visual Arts in NYC with a semester abroad in Barcelona. Any money I reluctantly saved in college funded my trips to places like Japan where I climbed Mt. Fuji, Latvia where I went bungee jumping for the first time, Budapest where I was welcomed into their small but emerging art scene, and Morocco where I felt immersed in an old-world forgotten.

Exploring new places has hugely influenced my work.  Everything from a Japanese menu to a subway map has served as a source of inspiration.  After graduating with my BFA in Advertising from the School of Visual Arts in New York, I went on to be published in Graphis New Talent 2013 for design pieces, worked at various start-ups and larger scale agencies, freelanced, and then to study front-end web development. 

I currently live in Hong Kong where I work as a freelance UI/UX designer, primarily for an international AgTech company, but am always looking to take on new creative projects, specifically those looking to create positive change in the world.
